Volkswagen unveils 2019 Touareg
Volkswagen showcased its flagship Touareg SUV at the recently concluded New York international Motor Show. It will be powered initially by a 282bhp 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel, which sends power through VW’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
Two additional engines will be launched: a lesser-powered 228 bhp 3.0-litre turbo diesel and a 336bhp 3.0-litre turbo petrol. Towards the end of 2018 VW will introduce a flagship 417bhp 4.0-litre V8 . Local dealer DT. Dobie will have this model by end of 2018
Ford beefs up the Ranger with the Raptor treatment
Ford has just revealed the much anticipated T6 Ranger Raptor pick up. It’s powered by an all-new, 157 kW/500 Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine.The twin-turbo oil-burner makes 10 kW and 30 N.m over the existing 3,2-litre five-pot diesel.
