Recently Mercedes showcased its Maybach ultimate luxury concept SUV at the Beijing International Motorshow. This fully electric vehicle will be powered by an 80Kw battery with a claimed range of 500KM and top speed of 250km/h.

Iveco to Launch Showroom Facility in Nairobi
Global Motors Centre, the local Iveco dealer is setting up a state of the art facility along Mombasa Road, in readiness of Iveco’s official launch in a few weeks’ time. The ‘3S’ facility (sales, service and spares) will be able to support the Iveco brand fully and spearhead its expansion strategy across East Africa. Iveco began to assemble the Trakker and Eurocargo models in Mombasa last year and intend to build the Daily Van in the near future. Toyota launches 2018 Land Cruiser Prado
The 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is finally in the country. The SUV was launched last week in a colorful function where dignitaries, VIPs and invited guests were at hand to sample the latest variant. Toyota has retained the overall design theme save for the changes on the grill and headlamp design. Inside the centre console now spots a terrain management system that allows the driver to select different setting based on the condition of the terrain. Toyota has introduced the 2.8LGD turbo-diesel engine officially in the 2018 Prado and is paired to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. On the safety front VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) comes as standard plus recalibrated off-road ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) that comes in hand during off road driving.
