Jaguar reveals E-Pace SUV for Sub-Saharan Africa

Jaguar recently launched the smallest Jaguar SUV, the E-Pace for sub-saharan africa. Jaguar is pegging on the appeal of the E-Pace to grow its market share and boost sales. Its powered exclusively by the brand’s Ingenium 4 cylinder unit in petrol and diesel formats.

Jaguar’s AWD system is so clever that it redistributes torque on demand . The result is tons of grip at any given speed.The  innovative front MacPherson strut now has a steering knuckle (similar to double wishbone setup) and rear integral link offers driving precision without sacrificing passenger comfort.

The E Pace will be available in Kenya by end of Q1 2018 and it will come in four engine derivatives (2 diesel + 2 petrol).

2018 Nissan X-Trail now in Kenya

Nissan Kenya has officially launched the 2018 Nissan X-Trail in the Kenyan market. This new model is more of a refreshment rather than an outright evolution, incorporating Nissan’s V-Motif front design theme . The X-Trail will only come in one model, top spec version that’s powered by an efficient 2.0L petrol engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic with all wheel drive. Volkswagen unveils 2019 Touareg

Volkswagen showcased its flagship Touareg SUV at the recently concluded New York international Motor Show. It will be powered initially by a 282bhp 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel, which sends power through VW’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

Two additional engines will be launched: a lesser-powered 228 bhp 3.0-litre turbo diesel and a 336bhp 3.0-litre turbo petrol. Towards the end of 2018 VW will introduce a flagship 417bhp 4.0-litre V8 . Local dealer DT. Dobie  will have this model by end of 2018

Ford beefs up the Ranger with the Raptor treatment

Ford has just revealed the much anticipated T6 Ranger Raptor pick up.  It’s powered by an all-new, 157 kW/500 Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine.The twin-turbo oil-burner makes 10 kW and 30 N.m over the existing 3,2-litre five-pot diesel. Power delivery is sent to all four paws courtesy of a 10 speed automatic gearbox.It will be built in Thailand and Silverton, South Africa, with sales begin in 2019 for sub-sahara africa
