Cheki Kenya is proud to announce that it is increasing its footprint across Kenya. This is by opening a new office in Mombasa County. The new office located at Jubilee Arcade in Mombasa signifies Cheki’s commitment to serving its customers across the country.
On August 19th, 2021, we held a successful launch at our new office in Jubilee Arcade that had several car dealers, government officials, insurance and finance partners, and other stakeholders in attendance.
We want to serve our customers better. This is by providing an online platform where car dealers, importers, and individual sellers can advertise their cars, while car buyers get a variety to select from.
Cheki Kenya’s Product Manager, Dennis Ochieng, explains, “Cheki is setting base in Mombasa to foster strategic partnerships with car dealers. We have also partnered with insurance, car financing, and inspection providers to serve our customers better.”
Mr. James Kitavi, CEO, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), who was also present at the launch talked about the government’s new directive to allow units to leave the port without number plates but must have logbooks and a 3rd party identifier sticker. He said this is to fasten the clearance of imported cars.
Our Managing Director of Consumer Classifieds for ROAM (Ringier One Africa Media), Brenna Excell reiterated that “Mombasa is not only strategic for our operations as Cheki. It is also a show of our commitment to serving the entirety of Kenya. It will bring transparency to car buying and selling transactions across the country.”
Cheki’s new office is located at Jubilee Arcade, 2nd Floor along Moi Avenue in Mombasa. For more information, please email nadimk@cheki.co.ke
