Design

The Ciaz was designed to attract a younger demographic. Therefore,  its fluid design theme. The teardrops quadrant style headlamps and a slated chrome grille give it an imposing look. On the other hand, the wide track and long wheelbase provide that aggressive stance.

Moreso, Suzuki has reworked the cabin design. The standout element is the use of light soft touch trim across the dashboard. It also comes with the Smart Play infotainment and reversing camera.

Powering the new Suzuki Ciaz is the K14B 70kW/130Nm 1.4-litre, four-cylinder engine. This engine variant is well known for its power and fuel efficiency. But above it, all,  it is its efficiency. Power is sent to the front wheel’s courtesy of a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The gearbox exploits the full potential of this feisty engine while still achieving a fuel consumption figure of 5.4- 5.5 litres/100km.

The Ciaz has decent road manners thanks to a well-tuned front McPherson strut and rear multi-link suspension. They are well set up to keep the car planted on the road even at higher speeds.

Safety

The Ciaz comes loaded with both active and passive safety systems. This includes an Anti-Lock Braking system. In case all hell breaks loose, you can rely on its dual airbags. Three-Point safety belts and crumple zones to protect you and family from harm’s way in case of an emergency stop.
